Small Foot East Africa Kenya Safaris was founded in 2013 by Charles Mugia. After travelling in the field as a professional tour guide for over 15 years, Charles decided to use his experience to offer a more personalized and innovative service to travelers visiting the region.

Small Foot East Africa Kenya Safaris is an independent company based in Nairobi and licensed by the Kenyan Ministry of Tourism. To date, we have organized travel plans for groups and individuals as well as for residents and non-residents eager to do an excursion and get away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Amboseli National Park is in southern Kenya. It’s known for its large elephant herds and views of immense Mount Kilimanjaro, across the border in Tanzania. Observation Hill offers panoramas of the peak and the park’s plains and swamps. Varied wildlife includes giraffes, zebras, cheetahs and hundreds of bird species. The western section is dominated by vast Lake Amboseli, which is dry outside the rainy season.

Samburu National Reserve

The Samburu National Reserve is a game reserve on the banks of the Ewaso Ngiro river in Kenya. On the other side of the river is the Buffalo Springs National Reserve. The park is 165 kmΒ² in size and is situated 350 kilometers from Nairobi. It ranges in altitude from 800 to 1230 m above sea level.[1] Geographically, it is located in Samburu County. In the middle of the reserve, the Ewaso Ngiro flows through doum palm groves and thick riverine forests. It provides water, without which the game in this arid region could not survive.
